Neighbourhood Plan

What is a Neighbourhood Plan?

It is a statutory document that allows the residents and people who work in the neighbourhood plan area to decide how the area develops. In short it allows Stoke Golding to have a real say in how the village and surrounding area develop. For more information, follow the links below.

The Referendum  Following the publication of the Decision Statement (Regulation 18) by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council, the Stoke Golding Neighbourhood Plan proceeded to referendum on Thursday 3 March 2022.

The question asked in the Referendum was ‘Do you want Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Stoke Golding to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
