Stoke Golding Charities

“The Charity of Thomas Barton”, founded in 1400.

 Objectives (revised in 1992) - Application of Income - Expenses of management including maintaining charity property, including repair and insurance...and for charitable purposes for the general benefit of inhabitants of Stoke Golding where provision is not made out of rates, taxes or other public funds.

“The Mistress Hester Hodges Exhibition Foundation”, founded in 1678.

Objectives – Half the income can be given to St Margaret's School for items not provided by the Local Authority or Diocese. The remainder is available to support former pupils of the school, who reside in the Parish of Stoke Golding and who are over 16 and proceeding to further education.
