Tracing family history

People tracing their family history often want to know how they can research burial records for the Stoke Golding.  Mr Denis Cash told us:

"All records of C of E baptisms and marriages are kept by the Vicar. Burials prior to 1880 were made in the churchyard of St. Margaret's Church. A record of this is kept by  The Vicar, The Vicarage, High Street, Stoke Golding, Nuneaton, Warks. These go back to 1560 but a surname is needed to trace an entry.

After 1880 burials were made in Stoke Golding cemetery.

A record is kept by Mr D. Cash, 100 Sherwood Road, Stoke Golding, Nuneaton, Warks. CV13 6EF. Again a surname is needed to trace an entry."

Denis's email address for enquiries :   newton861atbtinternet.com

We hope that helps you if you are researching your family history.
